Our Pastoral Staff

Rev Chris Chua

Rev Chris Chua is responsible for the Mandarin congregation since it began in 1988. His passion is to study, preach, teach and train the people in God’s word so that they may grow in their faith and their love for God and for one another. As a pastor, he sees his ministry as shepherding the sheep entrusted to his care by Jesus Christ, the Chief Shepherd.

Rev Chris Chua is married to Katherine Chua. They have 1 daughter and two sons. All are married. The daughter has 2 children.

Rev Ying Yee

CCC has been Rev Ying Yee’s first and only church since he started coming in 1972 as a young unbelieving teenager. After accepting the salvation of Jesus Christ, he adopted a vision to “to challenge men and women from all around Australia to give up their jobs and serve the Lord full time.” Rev Ying Yee is the minster for the English Ministry.

Rev Jeff Wang

Rev Jeff Wang joined CCC in 2014 as a student pastor and became a full-time pastor in 2016. He has a burden for Mandarin-speaking people, including overseas students, new migrants, visitors etc. He also chairs the Mission Committee of CCC.

 Jeff is married to Rose Cao. They have one son Justin who is married.

Rev Winston Mah

Rev Winston Mah was originally from Malaysia but was raised in Sydney Australia. He began following Jesus at age 19. He is married to Vicki and they have one son, Caleb. When he’s not playing board games with his family, Winston loves spending time with people over food, pastries and good coffee. He graduated from SMBC with a Bachelor of Theology and was ordained in the Presbyterian Church of Australia. He has a passion to help others find joy and contentment in a life given to serving Jesus and making him known. Winston serves in CCC as the pastor to the youth and young adults.

Rev Joseph Cho

Before joining the CCC family in 2020, Rev. Joe completed his theological studies at SMBC and served at Chinese & Australian Baptist Church – West Ryde for 8 years.
He loves God, loves his family, loves eating and loves basketball – for the most part in that order.
Joe’s ministry focus is on Redeemer City Church in Chatswood.

Pastor Eric Shing

Pastor Eric started at CCC in March 2019 after completing his M.Div from Morling College. Prior to that he taught Physics in both Sydney and Hong Kong and was a school principal from Hong Kong. Since young, he has prayed that the Lord will allow him to serve as a pastor. He looks after the Cantonese Ministry at CCC.

Eric is married to Carol. They have two daughters Scarlett and Simone. Scarlett is married and Simone is now working in Shanghai, China.

Pastor Caroline Dong

Pastor Caroline Dong grew up in a Christian family and is a fourth generation Christian. She joined CCC in 2013 and studied theology in Sydney.

She became a student pastor in 2018, focusing mainly on Mandarin ministries, and has a burden for young adults.

In particular, she feels a deep burden for the many international students that arrive in Sydney every year because of similar backgrounds. She would like to share the gospel with them and make them feel included in our church family.

Our Elders

Frank Lee

Frank is the current Chairmen, Board of Elders. He has been a member of CCC since 1982, serving in various church ministries over the years.  He is an IT Professional, married with 2 children. 

Jack Mock

Jack has been a member of CCC since 1975. He assisted Rev Wilfred Chee to set up the English service in 1976 with Pastor Lim Kim Bew. He is a retired high school teacher and is married to Lorna with two adult children and three grandchildren. 

Stephen Lowe

Stephen has been a member of CCC since 1983. He is married with 3 grown children and 8 grandchildren.

Sammy Liu

Sammy is an Actuary who has been a member of CCC since 2009. He attends the Cantonese service with his wife and 3 children.

Edwin Choi

Edwin has been a member of CCC since 2004 and attends the Cantonese service. He is an IT Manager with 2 young kids.

 

Swee Yeo

Swee was baptised at Singapore Grace Baptist Church in 1984 and has been attending CCC since 2002. He was an IT Manager taking a break at the moment.
